• Adventure games?

  Disco Elysium, for sure, if you haven't already played it. Ticks all your boxes in its own way. You play a detective solving a murder, but you got so drunk you have no idea who you are or what you've done.   Disco Elysium - Open world interactive fiction with minor RPG elements. I currently have this on my Wishlist as it's garnered a lot of great reviews about making choices. The "RPG" is much weaker than expected, so it's not the main focus of the game, but it feels like a persona without the battles. Source: over 1 year ago

  Disco Elysium has Kim Kitsuragi, who is the detective assisting you throughout the game. His sexuality doesn't get discussed much (at least not from what I've played? Still need to finish it), but it is canon and mostly conveyed through his reactions to certain things. Source: almost 2 years ago
