Zimyo Reviews

  1. "easy to use"

Simple, pretty, easy to use, easy adoption for staff.

    Recruitment, ratings, easy reporting, onboarding.

Using the reporting to understand who is doing what and going where is great!

They also helped us build something internally to help manage our in house benefits. Great!

    🏁 Competitors: Keka
👍 Pros:    Simple, pretty, easy to use, easy adoption for staff.
👎 Cons:    The team has mentioned to me a number of times that the automatic logout time is pretty short, and that frustrates them, but other than that, it's been pretty awesome!
  2. "Excellent customer service & technology"

I can access it from home or the office. It works the same way. You sign in, clock in, or enter PTO. None of it is fancy, but it works for me.

    🏁 Competitors: Kredily
👍 Pros:    I can access it from home or the office.
👎 Cons:    There is nothing that i could really think of to dislike. there is one thing, when you forget your password you cannot use last 3 used which causes you to forget your current password occasionally
  3. "Easy-to-use platform for HR"

I use ZIMYO daily to mark my attendance and manage my tasks. It's packed with many new features that help any organization to manage their staff. My day starts as a work from home employee, I first log into ZIMYO using the remote login feature. It automatically manages my time, attendance, in-time and out-of-time, and leaves balance maintenance, as well as my payroll and payslips. With it, HR can efficiently manage requests raised by employees like ourselves and work to resolve it. It also comes with profile management, which enables us to upload necessary documents for easy access during time off work, as well as keep track of records for the organization.

Compared to its competitors, Zimyo offers a lot of features at a very reasonable price. However, the best feature is that GPS is required while clocking in and out so that the employee location can be tracked easily. I like ZIMYO because it allows me to keep a quick overview of attendance, leave balance, performance, and most importantly, it keeps me connected to my team. I prefer the desktop version, but I appreciate the mobile version for when I am on the go.

Zimyo is fantastic. We use it almost every day.

    🏁 Competitors: Keka
👍 Pros:    Zimyo is fantastic. we use it almost every day.
👎 Cons:    Everything is great! i had no problems using this software. our company will continue using it.

Top 8 Best Payroll Software For Accountants In 2022
Given its exceptional UX, flexibility, mobile access, customizable reports, and easy onboarding for new employees and contractors, Gusto is a good option for accountants working with smaller-sized teams. BambooHR Review 2019: Pricing, Features, Alternatives
Gusto Core is limited to payroll processing and costs $39 per month, with $6 a month per employee. The Complete package, which includes much of the same functionality as BambooHR, costs the same base-level $39 a month with an additional $12 per employee instead of $6. Gusto also has a new option for contractor-only employers, who simply pay the $6/employee rate and no base...

  • As a completely inexperienced newbie, how does salary payment work?
If they are W2 or 1099, look at gusto.com, but I would encourage you to speak with a CPA so they can best advise you on your situation. If you do things wrong, it could put you in a lot of legal trouble. Source: over 1 year ago

  • Do I need to out my 18y old on as an employee?
W2 employee - More complicated to setup but there are lots of great services like Gusto that do pretty much everything for you. Then you just run payroll and taxes are taken out of his check. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Hiring a Canadian for ad hoc, hourly work (I'm a US person, not yet a business)
Third - the 1099. If you have a consulting contract, then you don't have to pay taxes for the individual. The consulting contract will clearly state that they are responsible for all taxes, including self-employment taxes. I still use a payroll service (gusto.com in my case, but whatever floats your boat) to pay contractors, that way someone else is taking care of the 1099s and such, which can be a pain in the ass.
