This strategy only works if you have enough confidence in your finances to know that if I gave you a card with 100k credit limit, you would never spend more on it than what you have in your bank and has been budgeted for.   I'm going to assume by "coinbase wallet" you mean coinbase.com and not the literal Coinbase Wallet. Coinbase Wallet would have fees identical to MetaMask, as those gas fees are from Ethereum, all wallets pay the same. Source: over 2 years ago
