gutters. I bought a virtual mobile number to register for online banking, which turned out to be used by this bank. as I understand zadarma, I was offered to steal the account from the existing owner. they refuse to replace the purchased number or return the funds.

One option to consider going forward: I've personally moved on to using a free youmail.com account - this captures the voicemails to email with a sound file attachment as well as a text transcription. You can use a service like Zadarma that allows you to buy virtual numbers in various countries. You cannot tie this to your Fi account but you can run the Zadarma app on your phone to make and receive calls using the virtual number.
