I used multiple free hosters in the last few months and thats the best one i found so far.
very simple to use. and if you're having trouble you can go to their discord and they will help you out. Much better than forge, more mod viarity and you can even reccomend mods on their discord.
This is the best free hosting ever, we also have FTP Access. Thanks BRO!
Based on our record, Xfinity xFi should be more popular than PloudOS. It has been mentiond 8 times since March 2021. Method #1: For the record you should be able to login to the comcast Gateway, click on Advanced, click on port forwarding, and open the ports there but instead there is a message from comcast saying that has moved to xfinity.com/myxfi. When you follow that link it says "Sorry this page no longer exists" and you get automatically redirected to https://internet.xfinity.com/. Source: 9 months ago
No errors, just a page that reads: "Managing your home network settings is now easier than ever. Visit xfinity.com/myxfi to set up port forwards, among many other features and settings." When going to the suggested web site, a forward to the site https://internet.xfinity.com/ happens. This is the site to download the Xfi App. Source: over 1 year ago
I've been trying to set up a port forward through the app that is supposed to "simplify the user experience". Yet, due to an error in the app it is showing there are 0 devices available. This is untrue; 10.0.0.1 shows 6, all of which are able to connect to the internet. To add insult to injury, the hour I spent on the phone with a tech ended after I was guided to the now defunct port forwarding section in 10.0.0.1... Source: over 1 year ago
For the last few weeks I've been struggling with this port forwarding error, "We are having some trouble." I can't access either the webpage setup (internet.xfinity.com) OR the Xfinity app port forwarding section, as both throw the same error. Source: almost 2 years ago
Unrelated but why is internet.xfinity.com being taken away? If it's a corpo answer of security or ease of use I don't want to hear it. Source: about 2 years ago
Ploud is probably gonna be your bet bet for a free server; other then hosting it locally. Source: over 1 year ago
I have also heard good things about PloudOS so you could try that, but keep in mind that most free hosting services like this or aternos will not perform well even on vanilla. Source: almost 2 years ago
PloudOS does have a hardcore setting, a seed input, and it's free. Https://ploudos.com/en/. Source: almost 2 years ago
Right now the official Minecraft VR is absolutely terrible if you have java I suggest Vivecraft or MCXR. I use MCXR because of the sodium support. If you want you can try ploud os https://ploudos.com/en/ which is a free Minecraft hosting service that allows java-bedrock crossplay(check the faq). If you have your own Minecraft server already you can use the geyser and floodgate plugins https://geysermc.org/ to... Source: about 2 years ago
As mentioned, maybe PloudOS . Couldn't find any other alternatives which can actually run a modpack or whatever. Source: over 2 years ago
