A project I've often considered doing is something like a very basic version of wolframalpha.com, where the user can input an equation with a variable and get the solution for that variable. I'm not quite sure how I would model this and have everything evaluate properly, though I do have some ideas on how I would proceed. - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
At least 90% of maths examiners will have at least a masters degree in maths. what's not obvious to you might be obvious to them. Use a spreadsheet and/or wolframalpha.com to ensure you are giving accurate values. Break it down into more steps so if they do check you'll show understanding for at least some of the calculations. - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
Thanks for this site. Where do you find such websites, and how? I can't explain the type of sites I'm looking for, because I don't know what to call them, or categorise them into, but here are some: haveibeenpwned , Sharkle, MUO, Wolfram Alpha, scamanalytics. I hope you understand my question😅. - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
Wolframalpha.com and its parent company's flagship product mathematica are both quite advanced. One of its competitors, MATLAB, also has many built in algebra and differential equation solvers. - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago
If I need to do some quick/simple calculations, I reach for orpie for all my RPN needs (if my calculator isn't handy), but if I need anything more I'll either head to wolframalpha.com or crack open a GUI app to help me solve a system of equations. - Source: Reddit / 5 months ago
