I want to buy the Iris Flip. If I order it now; it'll reach in about 10 days. But do I have to use it for 60 days really? There's no other way? I have checked in willmyphonework.net whether it would work in my country or not but this model isn't listed since it is new in the market I guess. Any insights or tips regarding this please... • Canadian Plan for Kyocera DuraXV Extreme
Willmyphonework.net is telling me there aren't Canadian plans that will work on it at all, unless the "DuraXV+" refers to my model, in which case I have a few options but they are sparse. Does anyone have experience setting up this phone to work in Canada? Thanks! Source: 10 months ago
  • Question about carrier
Most phones usually work and there are a few websites that can help - willmyphonework.net was a great website but hasn't been updated with new models. - https://www.kimovil.com/en/frequency-checker is another one - https://www.frequencycheck.com/ this website I just found out while replying to your answer. Would suggest you go with the option - look for compatible carriers for a device! Source: 11 months ago
  • Does a phone bought in Europe work fine in the USA long-term?
Maybe, maybe not. You didn't event say which model of phone and provider you have. Look here: Https://willmyphonework.net/ Put your phone model there and the country and provider with you want to use it, then you can see what is compatible and what not. Source: 11 months ago

That tells you all of the core temps and package temp as well as all core thermal throttling status (yes/no). If temps are already high (circa 70/80 degrees) and/or thermal throttling status is yes then you have a problem. If you don't meet the above criteria use OCCT or CPUZ to stress/bench test with HWINFO already open and see if temps get high or thermal throttling occurs under load. If you meet the above... Give your laptop a really intensive CPU + GPU workload, for example Prime95 and Furmark simultaneously (www.mersenne.org, geeks3d.com), and monitor temperatures for CPU package and all its cores with HWiNFO (www.hwinfo.com). I run Prime95 with default settings and Furmark with my LCD panel's native resolution. Under usual room temperature, after only 5 minutes of the stress test there are CPU package at 100 deg...
