Thanks for writing this. I have added and removed about 4 million lines of code: https://github.com/wekan/wekan/graphs/contributors You are not dumb. It is normal to feel frustrated, when figuring out, step by step, how something works, and what to do. It is like labyrinth. Having enough breaks, taking a walk when needed, having enough coping skills or adding more of them, having patience to keep notes of what is... - Source: Hacker News / 7 months ago
Hi Wekan, looks cool but IHMO suffers from confusing documentation and onramp. It took me multiple attempts, days apart, after initially stumbling upon this comment to get a better sense of it. The project homepage (https://wekan.github.io/) stresses the different installers but at that point I didn't know if I want to install it or not. The SPA version heavily utilizes Styled Components, and although it's feasible to use the styled-vanilla-extract library and migrate the code with minimal changes, some parts would still need refactoring since CSS is pre-built during compilation. We've previously used the useStylesScoped$ function while building a corporate website, but it often felt more like a hack than a solid solution. - Source: dev.to / about 1 month ago
Hey, I’m not an expert on every single JavaScript styling library, so take this as you will. The bulk of my experience is with Styled Components. It is an excellent tool popular with most of the works I've done. - Source: dev.to / about 1 month ago
CSS-in-JS is a styling technique wherein CSS is composed using JavaScript instead of defined in external files. This method allows CSS to be scoped locally to components rather than globally, reducing the probability of style conflicts. Utilizing JavaScript also enables dynamic styling easily aligned with the component's state or props. Libraries like Styled Components and Emotion are popular choices in the React... - Source: dev.to / 2 months ago
