It has been a rich experience with Weebly. The platform provides nice user interface and payment gateway options, though it becomes expensive with every addon feature.
Weebly might be a bit more popular than CakePHP. We know about 10 links to it since March 2021 and only 9 links to CakePHP. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
- How can I export all the site data (including media - images etc, and static data - js, css, if relevant?) so that I can import it into weebly.com? Is there an export/import option in the weebly site builder? I can't find much documentation online on this ... I'm hoping I can just export to XML, JSON or something and then do a straight import on the weebly.com side - or am I being too optimistic? Source: about 1 year ago
You can try wix.com or weebly.com - they are both drag-and-drop (i.e. No or low code) interfaces. Everyone's preference is different though! Source: over 1 year ago

I don't use the site as a blog but you could: https://www.weebly.com/features/start-a-blog. I suggest that you also have a look at wordpress.com and wix.com. It is easy to get started if you decide that you would like your own... Source: over 1 year ago

Give https://cakephp.org/ a try. It also is one of the oldest ones out there, so quite mature and stable while being rather lightweight. Serving JSON API seems like a good fit. Source: over 1 year ago

As the name of the service says it will work best with Laravel but it is not a problem to modify code from other frameworks to make it work the same way. I have several applications created this way in CakePHP.
