WordPress.com WiX Weebly
  1. Create a free website or build a blog with ease on WordPress.com. Dozens of free, customizable, mobile-ready designs and themes. Free hosting and support.
I use a free account at weebly.com. I have created a web page for each ancestor and then post photos and information. The thing I like is the content can be updated as I find new things. I don't use the site as a blog but you could: https://www.weebly.com/features/start-a-blog. I suggest that you also have a look at wordpress.com and wix.com. It is easy to get started if you decide that you would like your own website as there is a lot of drag-and-drop functionality. The free account has limited storage but I have yet to reach the limit. I hope these comments are useful.
