You can check your status (or actually register to vote) by going to vote.org and selecting your state. It's simple and takes very little time. You can change your registration by going to vote.gov and checking your state or territory. Depending on where you live you might have to update it via online, mail in form, by phone, or the local electors office. Your state might even ask you to reregister as a new voter to make sure any changes go through.
