   Most flexible Metaverse out there...

   Most of the 3D world experiences limit what a user can build and do. This is not so with Vircadia. The Apache license makes this 3D application the most flexible tool for building custom and interactive worlds. Vircadia is truly free, open and relatively easy to use. There are several developers who are working and improving this platform daily! Free content ensures that new users have access to materials for building their world without having to worry about learning difficult 3D applications. I highly recommend Vircadia and believe this will be the next big server technology on the world wide web.

  To me it's useful/entertaining in the ways forums and chats are, plus some additional features on top of that. Eg, you can talk to people, but in addition to that you have a collaborative 3D environment with positional audio where you can script, make games or do other stuff. • So, I noticed that store content doesn't load through EA Desktop, so I decided to see if I could get any help with this. The support advisor I got was very nice and helpful, but sadly is looks like when Origin is shut down, I won't be able to use store content, including worlds, despite having disc.

  I read most of the comments here and only Origin users will be forced to EA App and..the store contents may not downloadable? Because currently, I'm not using Origin to play the sims 3. My game is installed by DVDs all. So it's likely the patch version 1.67 would be safe with the store contents, right? I can install all store contents from thesims3.com without origin.   You don't need the Origin to send any online gift but you should be the registered member of thesims3.com I can still send any online present even though my game is installed by DVDs, but usually play offline for the better game performance. Source: over 1 year ago
