  • 3D models, avatars, gestures
Unity is what they are using, I just know from seeing it in the browser code and researched it a little last year. https://unity.com/solutions/build-backend. Source: about 1 year ago
  • I teach Unreal. I had an easier time making my game in LittleBigPlanet. That cannot be right, what am I missing.
I never said that Unreal is bad for non BRs, just that it is very good for BRs. The amount of work they put into making Fortnite work as well as it does puts it way above anything else for large match based shooters. • 🤔How do I find out the system requirements for my game (built with Unreal)? 👉 STEAMWORKS Onboarding 👈
Then that can be done on partner.steamgames.com -> Edit Store Page -> Basic Info tab -> Supported Platforms section. You don't have to put any requirements for the sound card btw. Source: about 1 year ago
  • [HELP] Is there a way to find name_id by market_hash_name?
I also tried this weird thing partner.steamgames.com. I thought that it is possible to find name_id by classid but it doesn't work. Source: about 1 year ago

Go to https://partner.steamgames.com/ and Join steamworks. You can reuse your Steam gamer account or create a new one. - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
  • Would anyone want to join my tiny visual novel studio?
I can give you a hand, however. Here's how to get your game added to Steam, PlayStation, and Nintendo. Source: over 1 year ago
  • TIL Tim Sweeney, Epic Games CEO originally wrote 90% of the code for the first Unreal Game Engine and has since used his fortune to protect more than 50,000 acres of forests for conservation purposes
Steamworks offers loads of functionality that developers can leverage to use in their products. Yeah, it's "industry standard", but it's kind of weird to act like it's just a place to list your games. Source: over 1 year ago
