That is common for large files. If you press "Try again", it usually resumes from exactly the same spot. Generally tho, I recommend using a download manager in such cases. I can recommend uGet, it's completely open source and is a frontend for wget. Source: over 1 year ago

Proton VPN is free, but it doesn't let you torrent. I often use webtor.io which will torrent files for me, and then I can direct download from there. seedr.cc is also a good website for it.
