  • This is my first untreated garden shed's waterfall chart measurement. Used a behringer ECM8000 and Focal Alpha 80s. Is this good enough or am I crazy?
You should focus on the frequencies under your Schroeder frequency. REW doesn't show it to you but you can estimate it with the waterfall or calculate it by dividing your room's reverberation time in seconds by the volume of your room in cubic meters, then multiplying the square root of that sum by 2000. You could measure it with TrueRTA as well. Source: almost 3 years ago

  • Ideal sample managers for sfx?
Years ago I got a lot of use out of AudioFinder but it’s Mac only and I’ve been out of that loop for a while now. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Does anyone else here hate sample management? Any tips to make it more bearable?
I like AudioFinder https://icedaudio.com/site/ lots of ways to organize and search. For Mac OS. Source: over 2 years ago
  • I think its time Ableton improve the audio preview tab. here's a mock up(Cubase's previewer) Anyone agree?
On Mac I use Audiofinder and love it. Out analyzes all your samples, let's you hear them with plugins, reverse the sample, change the pitch, etc. And then when you find what you like I just stay and drop it onto Ableton. Https://icedaudio.com/site/. Source: over 2 years ago
