Doctor On Demand Reviews

The Online Therapy Services We’d Use
Doctor On Demand, too, is accredited by the American Telemedicine Association, and its therapist roster is filled only with psychologists (Amwell and MDLive both employ psychologists as well as other mental health professionals). But at $180 per 50-minute session, it’s the priciest service we tested (though like our other picks, Doctor On Demand accepts insurance). The site...

  • Advice please!!!
I would say try it - it may help with the anorexia too. Decreasing your anxiety could help you address the root issue. I've heard that OCD and anorexia are related as they are both compulsive disorders. I would definitely get into therapy/counseling for these issues. I'm using NOCD (treatmyocd.com) as my therapy as its covered by insurance in the USA. It's been phenomenal!! Meds are helping me to address my... Source: 12 months ago
  • Terrified I have an rabies incubating in me after feral kitten exposure THREE YEARS AGO..How do i get this out of my head?
I’m sorry, I also developed OCD at 12 and went years without treatment so I know how tough it can be. Do you think you could try a self-guided ERP and/or CBT exercise? I have a CBT worksheet that might be of some help if you need it. Some other helpful websites are OCD-UK and NOCD. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Have any of you used online programs to manage/recover from OCD? How was your experience?
I know when you're in a bad place you can grasp at straws but (assuming you're in the US) you're better going somewhere like treatmyocd.com (NOCD) which might be covered by your insurance or trying to find a therapist through IOCDF https://iocdf.org/find-help/. Source: over 1 year ago
  • eye blinking tic
I'm seeing an ERP therapist through NOCD. She has been super helpful and if you can afford it, I definitely recommend it. After insurance, mine comes out to $50/session, but that can obviously vary. Source: over 1 year ago
  • I need some help/tips
Please please please seek out a therapist who is an OCD specialist or one who is well-practiced in Exposure Response Therapy. More likely than not, talk therapy is going to lead to you compulsing/ruminating, which will make things worse. If you are on Instagram, I strongly recommend following ObsessivelyEverAfter and YourAnxietyToolkit. They are therapists doing the work and OCD specialists and I've gotten some of... • In Need of a Quality Therapy (that accepts Blue Cross)
Psychologist: Try Dr. On Demand app: https://doctorondemand.com/ This will give you access to a much wider breadth of psychologists outside of the Sac/CA area, and you can simply just pick a different person each time without having to go through the hassle of driving/etc. Source: 10 months ago
  • Where can I get an antibody blood titer test done?
For online dr appointments I’ve used https://doctorondemand.com several times with great results. $79. Source: 12 months ago
  • I was just fired. I really need few kind words right now.
Psychiatrist - You can refuse the treatment options they offer and ask for alternatives, or suggest your own. You should tell this psych, if you decide to keep them, that the side effects from the meds are too strong and you do not like them. Then ask to go back to your old treatment plan and be firm about it. If they go so far as to refuse to see you walk away, that is not a good physician. Source, I work in... Source: about 1 year ago
  • Alternatives to OneMedical?
Your insurance might still cover it https://doctorondemand.com I had good experience with them and it’s super quick. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Needing a mental health diagnosis asap
Doctor On Demand App is a telehealth provider that accepts Tricare and they treat anything from a cold to seeing a mental health professional. My experience with them so far has been amazing. They are quick, you can schedule an appointment or do a “walk in”, and you can do it anywhere. Hope this helps. Good luck! Source: over 1 year ago
