Kodi + trakt.tv. And my movie collection looks better than Netflix. Also, I have more content than Netflix. Trakt helps to organize it. I used to use Kodi plugins but now it`s too much hassle. Source: 6 months ago
I spent some time working on this tool called IMDB-Trakt-Syncer which syncs user watchlist, ratings and comments for Movies, TV Shows and Episodes both ways between IMDB and Trakt. Also syncs episode ratings. You can use this script alongside PlexTraktSync and TMDB-Trakt-Syncer to get your ratings syncs across all 4 platforms! It should work on any OS. The project's Github repository and source code can be found... Source: 7 months ago
Good afternoon everyone!! I am a long time browser/reader of the all mighty reddit but this is my very first post. I very recently learned about trakt.tv and best I can tell it is great. I am in search of some information as to how to get Jellyfin Media Server to synchronize with the site. I installed the plug-in and authorized the device using the provided link but the browser never redirected. Thanks in... Source: 8 months ago
No movie site / app I am aware of gives you the opportunity to follow filmmakers. And that's a pity - both for movie lovers as myself and for filmmakers as yourself, who e.g. Want to keep track of their colleagues' work. That's why I built movienerd. This is not an ad: I've seen a few YouTube creators who are into film (Broey Deschanel is an example) who are sponsored by a platform called Mubi: https://mubi.com/. Source: 11 months ago
Mubi (https://mubi.com/) is nice. You don’t get a huge catalogue but they cycle it very regularly with varying thematic focus and showcase a mix of old movies and new art releases. It feels a bit like a cinema club. I recommend. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
I recommend Mubi. Just quality stuff, opposite of Netflix. https://mubi.com/. Source: over 1 year ago
Well you can go to mubi.com and sign up directly with them. I did this with BFI and tried to do it with Shudder but for BFI their web player wasn't as good as Prime and with Shudder I literally couldn't get the website to accept any of my cards. So now, if there is an Amazon Channel available for a service, I tend to go via that for ease. Source: over 1 year ago
Not a specific movie, but if you go onto mubi.com and browse there seems to be a lot of movies like this up your alley. I'm not crazy about mundane films but there seems to be a lot of simple life indie movies there. Source: almost 2 years ago
