  • Mimic Touch Bar screenshot functionality on non-touch bar M1 MacBook Pro
If you want a fake (yet fully functional) touchbar on your screen, you could use something like: https://github.com/sindresorhus/touch-bar-simulator (I used that for a while on my 2017 mbp). Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Picture-in-picture for all videos that works on Safari 15 / Monterey?
Baking soda or Fulifier would on most sites but not iPlayer apparently. However (without any need for an extension) I can use PIP on any compatible website via the button on my touchbar. Perhaps until you find an extension, use touch-bar-simulator? Source: over 2 years ago
  • Why does my new M1 Pro MacBook think it has a touch bar?
Did you try a restart? It’s bizarre that’s it’s using so much virtual memory too. Only thing I could think of it virtual Touch Bar simulator, but I think you would probably know if you were using that lol. Is it possible there’s an app doing something similar? Also, side note, what do you use to rearrange your menu bar? It looks great. Source: over 3 years ago
  • TouchBar Simulator
I use this one.. Works fine.. Https://github.com/sindresorhus/touch-bar-simulator. Source: almost 4 years ago

  • What to do about slow players
If you're still reading, then I feel OK to plug the app I made that can do all of the above. It is called the Shared Game Timer and the URL is https://sharedgametimer.com. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Does anyone know where I can get a resetting timer for a games night?
The Shared Game Timer (https://sharedgametimer.com/) has a Sandtimer mode. But it does take 3 presses to restart the timer (Stop, Reset, Start), but that is something I'd be willing to change if I knew people wanted a mode where a single press does all 3 things. Let me know if you want that feature. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Turn timer?
You are welcome to try out the (free) timer I created, https://sharedgametimer.com. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Web App/API to manage time/turn order
Sounds like the Shared Game Timer. (https://sharedgametimer.com) I'm the author of that. I don't have a Web API for controlling it (yet) but I do have a Bluetooth API that allows anyone with some coding skills to hook up devices (like lights, buttons, etc) to it. Source: about 2 years ago
  • What are some of the things that have enhanced your board gaming experience?
It's free for anyone to use, in case you want to give it a go. https://sharedgametimer.com. Source: over 2 years ago
