Tolgee Reviews

  1. A great i18n collaborative platform

AFFiNE is a local-first, privacy-focussed, open-source knowledge management software. So we wanted to find an open-source solution for our translation and localisation needs, and that's where Tolgee comes in.

Not only is the software super straight forward to use, they offer extensive support. From free cloud tiers for other open-source software and the ability to self-host our own Tolgee instance.

Their team have been very friendly and easy to reach, taking on our feedback and ideas to help improve the Tolgee experience for everyone.

We look forward to work more with Tolgee and grow the ecosystem of open-source tools to a more wider audience.

πŸ‘ Pros:    User-friendly|Great customer support|Proactive|Constantly improving|Friendly and safe community
    πŸ‘Ž Cons:    Some missing features

Best Localization Software in 2022
Developers are not involved in the localization process following the development phase using Tolgee. They create the app, integrate Tolgee integration libraries, and deploy an instance that allows translators to edit localization texts in the context of a web application. The texts are then synced with the Tolgee server (REST API), and no developers are required in the...

Basecamp Reviews

  1. As a writer, I've been using Basecamp for a few years now and I must say, it has been a game-changer for me. Basecamp is a cloud-based project management tool that offers a suite of features to help teams collaborate efficiently and effectively.

I started using Basecamp as a project management tool to manage my writing projects. Initially, I found it a bit overwhelming, but with time I got used to the interface and the features. Basecamp has a clean and intuitive design that makes it easy to use. The dashboard is well-organized and shows all the active projects and tasks at a glance. Basecamp has a variety of features that make it easy to manage tasks, track progress, communicate with team members, and share files.

    🏁 Competitors: Trello
πŸ‘ Pros:    Easy to use|Cost-efficient|Highly customizable
    πŸ‘Ž Cons:    Limited integrations|No time tracking|Limited report

Basecamp vs Pneumatic β€” From Startup Efficiency to Advanced Workflow Optimization
It’s a bold claim and by most accounts Basecamp executes on it with sufficient success. But then again, as the old saying goes, our greatest weaknesses are extensions of our greatest strengths: adopting Basecamp means that if you want to get the most bang for your buck out of it, you need to migrate everything into Basecamp. It won’t be a big deal if you’re just starting out...

  • How I Achieved 10x Productivity at Remote Work
Remote work is an established term these days, but back in the days i.e. Prior to COVID or a few more years back, this term was quite alien in the developer community. Even though there were organizations like Basecamp which were working remotely for more than 20 years, the developer ecosystem was not built around the concept of working remotely or to put it in simple words, separately from your colleagues.
