Improve your website speed and mobile responsiveness. Google loves websites that load fast. Make sure your pictures aren't heavy. Use apps like TinyJPG. Use the right amount of animation because too much of anything is bad. Source: 7 months ago
Extract the scanned image and resize to make it a bit smaller, then compress the images on tinyjpg.com, merge them all into one pdf file using smallpdf, finally compress the pdf file again on the same website. Source: about 1 year ago
I'd say that a proper OR recommended approach towards optimizing images for the web is to manually compress them with compression tools like TinyJPG or Squoosh before uploading them to your favorite image CDN. Why? you'd ask me. - Source: dev.to / about 1 year ago
Oh and for the file size: compressing is usually better than resizing. And your image is a PNG which is much bigger in size than a JPG and you barely notice the difference. You can use https://tinyjpg.com/ or any proper image editor for good compression or even in Wonderdraft, you can (for sharing on Reddit) better export it as a JPG and at 80% or so. Compress image using commandline tool (convert / jpegoptim) or online tool - https://tinyjpg.com/. - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
Same, but a little more elegant is short.io. It's a link shortener, but with a $19/month plan you can add a ton of customization to your links. One of those being limit on clicks. Same problem here that the file is still hosted elsewhere and available if they happen to copy the URL from the address bar. Source: about 1 year ago
Can I ask you how you have integrated short.io into your app? Via Zapier or API? Source: over 1 year ago
Just tried it and https://short.io only allows domains that end with specific TLDs (ICANN's list). So while nothing in Handshake is blocking the service, the service needs to loosen up the restrictions to be able to link handshake names. Source: almost 2 years ago
Https://short.io on their free tier you can make a smart link like listen.yourdomain.com that sends an apple mobile user to your podcast on iOS, an android mobile user to your podcast on google's podcast app, and a desktop/laptop browser to your website. Source: almost 2 years ago
Use conversion and link tracking (short.io is better than bitly). Source: about 2 years ago
