Not too far ago, I invested several days into "mastering" and tuning TiddlyWiki. It was an interesting experience. I loved it on the whole and felt very enthusiastic about using it store all my knowledge. It's super flexible and use of tags, filters and macros make it unique. However, it's a bit complicated for mass adoption. Also, the extended use of its powerful features may make your computer tangibly slow.
That's why I found "Obsidian", that's what I'm using today to store my knowledge.
Pros: - Great hosting plans, especially for WordPress - Outstanding client service - Fantastic uptime - Excellent money-back return policy
Cons: - Comparatively pricey

I use TiddlyWiki. It's a portable editable wiki that doesn't require a web server or web hosting. You open it from your computer, edit it, and save it. You get all of the linking that you'd expect to see in a wiki, and it's super readable and easy to use. Source: 5 months ago
Hopefully, this will make it much easier for software like tiddlywiki [1] where the idea is to be as self-contained as possible. Either way you'll end up using a host like a2hosting.com (search for "a2hosting comparison" to find other hosts) which let you put up your own web pages because listing domains only on Afternic, Sedo, GoDaddy, etc., still doesn't give you much more visibility than posting them as For Sale on which ever domain name service/registrar you choose, which in itself gives you little visibility except to sharks who cruise...
