I had ideas to build an app, and made few 2 years ago or so. Indeed these technologies are great to start with. I would suggest going with Kodular.io or thunkable.com instead of appinventor. If you sling text around regularly, why not treat yourself to a decent text editor? Both Notepad++ (Windows) and Notepadqq (Linux) are free, open-source, and a hell of a lot netter than Notepad. Source: 6 months ago
