Now, I know a lot of you will rush to twitter bio but hold your horses, that doesn't mean anything. If you actually go to Witcher official website apart from a description that was recently added for Nintendo switch, the game doesn't call itself an RPG. Because RPG is a very broad genre. Disco Elysium, for sure, if you haven't already played it. Ticks all your boxes in its own way. You play a detective solving a murder, but you got so drunk you have no idea who you are or what you've done. Disco Elysium - Open world interactive fiction with minor RPG elements. I currently have this on my Wishlist as it's garnered a lot of great reviews about making choices. The "RPG" is much weaker than expected, so it's not the main focus of the game, but it feels like a persona without the battles. Source: over 1 year ago
