I will like it and I also recommend others to follow this platform. But there is no direct relationship with customers, high operating costs and no control over the refund policy
Amazon has best shopping experience with us. Everything in this platform is very nice. It provides best shopping experience in India, has provides biggest selections of products, books, software reach and shows best movies, latest podcasts music and everything is nice for us. I like Amazon and also refer others to follow that platform. But there is no direct customer relationship, has high operations cost and there is no control over return policies.
Based on our record, Amazon seems to be a lot more popular than The New York Times. While we know about 2896 links to Amazon, we've tracked only 123 mentions of The New York Times. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
I wonder if you could construct a hash collision for high pagerank sites in the google (or Bing) index. You would need to know what hash algorithm google uses to store URLs. This is assuming that they hash the URLs for their indexing. Which surely they do. MD5 and SHA1 existed when google was founded, but hash collisions weren't a big concern until later IIRC. You'd want a fast algorithm because you're having to... - Source: Hacker News / 4 months ago
If we (the library) want to provide access to something like the nytimes.com or economist.com websites, what we can do is essentially bulk purchase, at some discount, subscriptions that can be claimed by our users. While this may work for a university campus, it doesn't scale well for a public library for both budgetary and logistical reasons. Source: 6 months ago
I tried to link my friends a NYTimes article but it tells me "www.nytimes.com is blocked. nytimes.com refused to connect. ERR_BLOCKED_BY_RESPONSE" and then automatically tries to load a .onion link in a tor window. Source: 6 months ago
Hello! My goal is to be able to automate tab-closing in Safari. I have hundreds of tab groups in Safari and many contain web pages that I no longer need. It would take me days to organize and manually go through them to close them. For example. I would love to close any tab that contains "gmail.com" or "nytimes.com" etc. Source: 10 months ago
It's lazy to know that the NYT writes an article and google search that article. Go to the browser and type nytimes.com. Source: 11 months ago
The voltage of mains electricity in the USA is half that of the UK, which effectively caps the power of appliances (at least those not plugged into a separate high voltage circuit). Search for fast boil kettles on amazon.co.uk and you'll get a range of 3000W options to choose from, search for the same on amazon.com and you'll return 1500W results. Source: 6 months ago
Are you using you using your regions version of amazon? Check amazon.com its almost always cheaper and right now I can get the card delivered to new Zealand for 232 euros. Source: 6 months ago
I do amazon.com and .ca (I mostly only buy if it's shipped & sold by amazon or atmost shipped by so I can track/refund easier) as well as hlj but shipping and handling usually ends up costing more than the kits I'm buying lol... Source: 6 months ago
I mean, if you try to search for something simple like "buy flashlight", you get like 15 amazon.com results on the first page. So if you're trying to find a quality product from a company that specializes in making just that particular thing, so you can avoid all the Chinese sellers on amazon, you sometimes can't. Ever since I've learned about how shitty the work conditions were at amazon, I have tried to avoid... Source: 6 months ago
Also check kindle unlimited for German titles. If they are KU in Germany they usually are as well in the US. You use your US account on amazon.com to then read german literature. If the genre you are interested in has a category, scroll down the sidebar, you might see german as well. Source: 6 months ago
