  • Where do I start?
You'll probably want to start reading the Bible, but the Bible can be really intimidating and confusing - it's huge and ancient and contains a whole bunch of different kinds of writing. I always recommend the Bible Project as a reading companion for beginners (and intermediate and advanced)... And they have an introductory reading plan. Source: 5 months ago
  • An aspiring Christian
I also watch and listen to a lot of Bible Project. They're pretty good a dissecting the Bible. Https://bibleproject.com/. Source: 5 months ago
  • Struggling, and trying to find a way back home.
I listen and watch a lot of The Bible Project, they do really go deep dives into scripture, themes, and messaging of the Bible. They have pretty dope animated videos too :https://bibleproject.com/. Source: 5 months ago

  • Is there any place to get free bibles
I just use https://bible.com . They have all the versions and they're all within the app and a website. :). Source: 5 months ago
  • How do I deal with deep-seated anger at God connected to not understanding why He allows life in this world to be so painful?
To me it was helpful to read couple of these plans on youversion / bible.com https://www.bible.com/search/plans?query=Why%20Do%20Bad%20Things%20Happen%20To%20Good%20People. Source: 10 months ago
  • My english teacher is defending GPT zero. What do I tell him?
This is something I saw in another post but it’s still interesting: go to bible.com (or any website that hosts the Bible). Copy the Genesis, and run it through ZeroGPT. Did God use AI to write it or it was AI that wrote it? Also, since this is pre-2021 material, you might also want to try something newer like a book that’s been published about a year ago and run it through that program. This would work, at least... • “Fact: God has never made a single drop of alcohol”
The community note source is "The Bible" at bible.com I have to think it's inherently the most hilarious. Source: 11 months ago
  • Can anyone translate this? I found it going through my late grandmother’s jewelry.
Since I don't read the original Greek, I'm working off translations. The English Standard Version that I got from bible.com used perfect, so that's what I used and what will be recognizable to most people. I have no idea what the original Greek word is and if the translation into either English or Hebrew is erroneous. Source: 12 months ago
