You're worrying too much about this. First, you're confusing a Zettelkasten (ZK) with a PKM. You don't need a PKM to have a ZK. And, yes, there are examples of text based ZKs. I’ll volunteer Taskwarrior (https://taskwarrior.org), since I don’t see it from anyone else just yet. It’s a CLI oriented task management system which (once you learn it) can be very quick and easy to use.
