TCPDF has full support for rendering an EPS into a PDF. It can be fussy. https://tcpdf.org/. - Source: Hacker News / 8 months ago
  • Python to what?
Idk what’s the big problem. Maybe it’s just something like https://tcpdf.org ? Using that for years. Source: about 1 year ago
  • pdf generation
Running a headless browser to render HTML is a resource intensive task. If you only need to generate simple documents, you're better off using a tool that generates PDF directly. In the old days we used FPDF and its successors (TCPDF was the most popular). Both seem to have recent releases. There's also mPDF , that seems to be another child of FPDF. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Create PDF from Excel.
You may want to look at a PDF library (Python/PHP/Perl/Java, etc.) You can do all you mention with a lot of flexibility. Tcpdf comes immediately to mind, there is also a Python port. If you want to learn a language, I recommend python. Learning how to make a basic program when it is something that you want, and you know what you want is a great way to learn. • How to insert MYSQL data in allredy prepared PDF document
The original site still has it available for download, but most importantly, a ton of examples and documentation, that while I haven't tried the github version, probably works based on the same as the old. Source: about 2 years ago

GoodReader mentions (4)

  • Anyone made the jump from books to PDFs? And how did it go?
GoodReader allows you to open multiple PDFs and switch between them. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Chuck's Guide to the AH-64D Apache
Goodreader pdf reader app (iOS) has a mobile view feature that shows any pdf in a more mobile friendly way (strips out text etc to be scrollable). There might be others that do this. https://goodreader.com/. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Decisions, decisions? (Advice wanted)
Sure. Just don't read goodreader.com, they just tell lies to get clicks, we hate them lol. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Are all HOM pens the same?
I have the A5X. I've always ordered direct from Ratta so I cannot speak to goodreader.com 's service, but the HOM pen for the A5 and A6 series is the same as the one for the X series (unless some knows otherwise). Source: over 2 years ago
