So the idea behind the organizing software Tabbles is great, I love it. File tagging, nested tags, tagging rules...etc. But the UI and some other things are just...a burden. Non intuitive, a little irritating. Source: almost 2 years ago

As for the bottom pinned window with TotalFinder and the drop down terminal window with iTerm. Actually, I'm doing the same with iTerm, but not for the Finder window. I thought about it when using TotalFinder, but never opted for it. I should try more at a point, but to give you an idea of another application that could help you a bit in this regard (to pop a Finder window from a shortcut). It's not like a pinned...
