• What is the most efficient platform (in terms of expense ratio etc) that I can use as someone with a bank account in Switzerland, to purchase shares/etf/indexes? Don’t want to use my bank’s service. Don’t need a personal advisor either, simply a web or app platform that I can operate myself.

  Swissquote works for me. The pricing is pretty exorbitant, but this is Switzerland and that means everything is twice as expensive as it is anywhere else. It is better than a Swiss bank though, unless you have some sort of platinum status. Source: 11 months ago

  Then I went to "manage my account" in webull.com to see if I can add another account (margin account). It didn't appear to have that option, rather it had the option of changing the existing cash account to margin, but when I clicked on change account, it actually led to creating a new margin account not changing the existing cash into margin.
