  Then I went to "manage my account" in webull.com to see if I can add another account (margin account). It didn't appear to have that option, rather it had the option of changing the existing cash account to margin, but when I clicked on change account, it actually led to creating a new margin account not changing the existing cash into margin.   I doesn't know across the world: except for stocks since my broker (degiro.nl) is Dutch and reports everything to the Dutch tax authorities. Banks do the same. So there is no manual form filling work left for me to do. If I inherited a mud hut in Zimbabwe from a Nigerian king, then Dutch tax authority wouldn't know of course, unless I reported it. • Confusion about buying VWCE in the Czech Republic as an italian

  It doesn't matter where you are resident in the EU. It matters which Degiro site you are using. You said you are using degiro.it , which does allow you to still buy VWCE. If you had used degiro.cz instead, you would not be allowed to buy VWCE. This is why people have resorted to switch to degiro accounts in other countries.
