Add up all the dividends paid in the last 12 months, then divide that number by the stock price to get the yield whereas Nasdaq, CNBC and TDAmeritrade annualize the yield which could show a much higher yield but according to stockanalysis... There is so much hype in that space right now with every coder trying to build something using the openAI api and the open source nature makes a lot of apps in this space a race to the bottom.
