So while I used MagicUML way back in my CAD/Catia days, it's unsupported for python. Then Eclipse has one https://www.eclipse.org/papyrus/ but no python support. I've heard people have used StarUML https://staruml.io ,but it looks like it generates flowcharts based on GUI interface graphical models for javascript you build and, I guess also for the javascript in StarUML which helps generate some python code based... I use UML quite a bit but it's never really what I'm after, somnething more modern and fluid and gui driven that more people can use. Icepanel [1] looks really cool but I haven't tested it and I'm not sure it really fits my use case. It seems like it's mostly for api driven rpc/grpc/rest services when I kind of want to use it to visualize backend/infra/terraform sort of things. Might be interesting to you.
