  • Most valuable skills in design?
Before UX, I was an Industrial Designer. I used Solidworks and KeyShot (and some Unreal Engine for Arch Viz). If you don't plan on doing Arch Viz or serious ID, then you should look at other 3D programs that's easier to learn. Check out: https://spline.design/, Adobe's (I forgot which one), or Vectary. I personally prefer Spline. I haven't touched it in awhile though cos I have been coding more lately. Source: 6 months ago
  • Hey guys 👋 i need help what should I have to learn first Blender or Maya .
You could start with Spline right from a web browser for free. It’s fairly new but very approachable for a total 3D newbie and you could offer your work to web builder who need to inject 3D into their websites with ease, and you can export AR experiences for iOS devices. Then you can move up to Blender to create more complex scenes. https://spline.design. Source: 10 months ago
  • Is there a similar tool to this one?
I just started making 3d models and stumbled upon https://spline.design/, this thing is like the Figma of 3D but it paid and I cannot export my models, I have a shitty low-end laptop but it works well (i3 10 gen, 8GB, and SSD) please recommend a tool that has the same functionality keeping in mind my restraints. (I just want to make 3d assets for websites or games and export them in gltf, glb, stl formats). Source: about 1 year ago
  • I made a 3D editor that models in pure CSS+HTML
It's just a cool tech demo that pushes CSS to its limits, but it's completely useless if you want to create usable 3d models. If you want to model in the browser, you can check out vectary, playcanvas, or spline. Source: about 1 year ago
  • How is this done?
If you have a .gltf file with high quality textures this can be done using Spline Design. Source: about 1 year ago

  • Houses near Merritt Island
I used realtor.com. Realtor.com and trulia.com are updated from the MLS, and Zillow takes a bit longer to update. I have found though that Zillow tends to have better history of the homes. Source: 7 months ago
  • Let's critique the Marquette MI housing market.
Have you ever looked a house for sale post on realtor.com, zillow.com, trulia.com or any other real estate website and thought "I wish they had a comment section". This is your place to do just that. Post a link to the home that is for sale and comment away, see if other Redditors feel the same way. Source: 11 months ago
  • Moving to Norfolk/Hampton Roads? Welcome! Please read this before posting. [2023 edition]
There's a lot under that price. Have you looked in trulia.com? Source: 12 months ago
  • Looking for Housing accommodations. I'll be moving to Arlington, Texas in the next 2months and looking for housing accommodations (Studio or 1bd) for the next +3yrs. Looking for quiet/safe place close to Dalworthington gardens. Any help will be appreciated. TIA
Look through trulia.com and aparmentguide.com You should keep your budget to 1150 MAX or get a roommate. Which is about 25% of your take home pay. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Any popular apartment buildings to stay away from?
Go to rent.com, trulia.com, and try to rent from a person who owns their apartment/condo vs. Renting from a management company. The owner may use rental management, but they are the ones to call the shots and ultimately make final decisions. Got lucky renting a 1-bedroom condo in Uptown from the owner who is extremely flexible and always on top of repairs/issues. Any bad experiences I had were always at rental... Source: about 1 year ago
