There are many metaverses. Some accessed via sites (like Decentraland,) others you have to download a 3D client (like Second Life)- I'd suggest you do a google search for common metaverses. You could also try spatial.io which is quick and easy. Source: about 1 year ago

I’d personally recommend Godot, because it’s FOSS, has a really nice way of doing things (in my opinion), and a language that’s similar enough to Go that when I was first learning Go I’d frequently use terms from GDScript!
