Json doesn't have comments because the designer of the language didn't like them. So if you come from any other programming language, know that's why you might be having issues (like me!). Check your Json out here . Also Beam keeps a separate copy of your materials in a BeamNG Personal, under vehicles. So changing code doesn't always show up unless you clear your cache.
