I tried obsidian but felt it had too many gears and knobs and spent too many times fiddling with them. Noteplan [1] has stuck for at least 3 years now. I like that in addition to old-school notes pages, each day has its own page. I capture notes and to-dos when I'm in meetings, and it has a separate view that will aggregate all your to-dos onto the same screen, no matter what day they appeared on.
