I open a support ticket describing the situation, expecting that it is a simple oversight, but I receive a puzzling response. Their support person claims that this IP doesn't belong to them, and that it is owned by "Sand Dune Mail Ltd". Why would it? My response will be sent through the SMTP server at smtp2go.com which has no idea what my Gmail address is. How does my "response to meeting invite" differ from my responses to other mass emails? Source: about 2 years ago
I use GMvault for doing this and I'm quite happy with it. Unfortunately, it's not actively maintained anymore and out of the box, it doesn't work properly thanks to some annoying changes that Google has made to Oauth, but fortunately, there's plenty of documentation on GitHub for how to fix it.
