Based on our record, NetHack should be more popular than sitejabber. It has been mentiond 22 times since March 2021. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.

Essaypedia has 162 reviews on Trustpilot and gets an average rating of 4 1/2 stars. But they have over 50 negative reviews and 7 less-than-perfect reviews. Prior to 3.1.x the dat subdirectory didn't exist yet but data.base was present somewhere, possibly in the src subdirectory instead. I don't know whether it goes as far back as hack 1.x or even nethack 2.x. The source code for a bunch of old versions is present at https://nethackwiki.com/ but I'm not sure whether the data files are all there too.
