SIGNL4 Reviews

  1. Great app for mobile alerting

With this system we have very good mobile alerting with manager escalation, time scheduling and auto calling when analyst don't confirm alert.

    👍 Pros:    Easy to use|Easy integration|Shift scheduling|Can create teams|Manager escalation
  2. The App we've been searching for over 2 years!

I have been looking for an app like this for over 2 years! Finally, an emergency alert app that gives persistent notifications, and can work with iOS to even alert you when you have Do Not Disturb enabled. Since this app allows a variety of choices for the persistent alert, including a phone call from a consistent phone number, I can set the SIGNL4 phone number as a favorite in my contacts, and then my alert comes through even if I set the phone to DND (and allow favorites in the DND settings). This allows me to sleep without interruption unless there is a true emergency! This app does so much more also, scheduling team members, making sure someone is always on duty, and even making provision for unanswered alerts to be escalated to a manager after a set time frame. We use it at our Church for an emergency. What I really love is that a parishioner calls in to our church phone system and leaves a voicemail in our emergency voicemail box, then my phone emails the voicemail to SIGNL4 app and after the alert, there is the voicemail accessible by a PLAY button within the app! Thank you SIGNL4, you have thought of everything!

  1. Great tool for planning

It's a great tool for planning tasks conveniently. It's pretty straightforward to use, which is a big plus. You can tweak it to fit your own way of doing things, which is handy.

  2. Ideal for project management

When we needed a tool large enough to support ongoing marketing projects, Monday was the best solution that was trialled in comparison to other alternative platforms that didn't scale as well with our needs.

Monday vs Pneumatic: A Crafts Workshop vs Assembly-Line Mass Production
Monday allows you to easily create tasks for you to manage by hand with relative ease: the approach works well for small projects but breaks down for large ones. Pneumatic gives you assembly-line workflows that excel for managing business processes of any size or complexity.

Monday vs Pneumatic: All at Once vs One at a Time
Monday is like a small workshop where everybody is in the same room, and everybody knows what’s going on, whereas Pneumatic is like a big factory where everyone has their assigned spot where they do their specific piece of work while the overall flow of the work is organized at a higher level. Both Pneumatic and Monday let you start small and build your processes...

I'm thinking about using small to medium group projects in my classroom to teach students the basics of project management (breaking big tasks into smaller ones, assigning roles, identifying dependencies, estimating effort/duration, tracking progress, etc.) I can do it using google sheets, but I was curious if anyone here has leveraged online tools like monday.com, Asana, Trello, etc. In the educational space.
