  • I used a AI generator for the brief but it was: Design an interactive 404 page for a hot sauce brand in Brazil.. this is my first attempt for a desktop website page. Any opinions to help out would be great. Don't have adobe subscription so made entirely with figma with 30 min time limit.
Used https://sharpen.design/ ... Some are a bit too strange to attempt but you can lock the settings and only shuffle the category. Source: 11 months ago

Youtube tutorials, and practice, start by copying famous apps and digital products you like, then start creating something yourself by using a generic design brief like Sharpen. Source: 11 months ago

Start making weekly projects (from https://sharpen.design for example). With quick research for the target audience and parts of the knowhow you learned so far. In the process, you’ll create a better understanding of where you are and where you could improve or what to learn. Source: 11 months ago
  • Giving up hope on graphic design job-hunting
Keep at it. Never stop designing. Work on briefs from Briefbox or sharpen.design every day. Design new stuff for your portfolio so you aren’t showing people old student work. Get some kind of day job but don’t give up. Source: about 1 year ago

  • This is a logo for a fake tv show about travelling around the world . Any suggestions to improve the logo or something thing to do with the double B in the front ?
I think you are on the right track. For me, the first version works better because the mark-up colour of the line is picked up again in the pin. I'm not sure what to make of the distorted pin in the second image, to be honest. It doesn't suggest a location, or "place", which is probably what you were trying to achieve with the pin as a stylistic device. What will definitely give the logo the final touch in the end... • How often do you have to tune font kerning yourself?
For body text, I mostly use the font's settings set to optical. For larger text, I always kern myself. It's my superpower. If you want to practice, play the Kern Game. Source: 11 months ago
