There is a word filter you can set up, if you have better ideas or something that exists on reddit submit an issue here , maybe set up a bounty on rysolv or donate because I worry they won't have the resources to handle all this popularity. Source: 11 months ago
In my opinion it isn't marketed well, if a highly popular project will have a link to rysolv on it's website and github page it could get a decent amount of contributions and iirc there was at least one big project that was funded using bounties. Source: about 1 year ago
Better to ask in the community of the implementation, and the best option is probably a bug tracker (adding a bounty on a platform like rysolv could also help). Source: about 1 year ago
A while ago I went over these types of platforms, the best IMO is rysolv. Source: over 1 year ago
Rysolv can also show the most funded issues on the platform and per project (and is last I checked the best open source platform for bounties), it can also be a "low cost" improvement, all you need to do is link to it on the KDE website or the readme of some projects. Source: over 1 year ago
Freelancing platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, and Fiverr provide a gateway to showcase your skills and connect with clients seeking various services. Whether you are a writer, designer, programmer, marketer, or translator, these platforms offer a vast array of opportunities to earn money online by working on projects that match your expertise. If you get an order on any of them double down on it. Cold reach-out works, but you've to show something to them as a portfolio. Instagram is a good place, as I did. Source: 10 months ago
If my subscribers and views were multiplied by 100, it would have become a part-time job. I would be declaring income on my tax form, and keeping track of expenses. I might be considering hiring part-time editors on freelancer.com, but since they'd be independent contractors, they'd be just an expense to me. They'd be responsible for their own taxes. The first payment indeed, it was more "special", as in, it took 2 months until I got the money in my account. But any other payment after that, were processed within days (at worst). I had some other issues (due to the country I'm working from), like my VISA card not being accepted so I had to do... Source: 10 months ago
I once posted on reddit my thoughts on freelancer.com and I assume, that it does not have a high reputation among other redditors. Someone who hired freelancers on that very site said, that clearing a payment is very difficult on that site, which I could understand. So do you have also faced other problems on that side? I am also waiting for payment since two weeks. Other than that, I think that the layout looks... Source: 10 months ago
