My advice is to search up places you want to visit and things you want to do in any free time you have. This is now your hobby, lol. Use apps or websites like campendium, or https://campgrounds.rvlife.com. Remember that you need to book 6 months to a year in advance for the more popular places, especially public campgrounds and super popular areas like the Florida keys for example. As for researching campgrounds, campendium is good. I use rvtripwizard.com for planning long routes, and it's sister-site https://campgrounds.rvlife.com/ works pretty well. Source: about 1 year ago
RV Life has a pretty comprehensive campground review section (https://campgrounds.rvlife.com/) that I consider when deciding on places to stay. Source: about 1 year ago
Https://campgrounds.rvlife.com/ Pick a city/area and look for campgrounds. Source: over 1 year ago
Rvparky, campendium, campgroundreviews, camping.com, thedyrt...I could go on but you have Google too. Source: over 2 years ago
Consider taking a trip in a rental, like outdoorsy.com to see how your family does in a given RV. Sure it is expensive, but could save you from dropping over $100k on a machine you need to maintain and store and regret having. Source: 10 months ago
Outdoorsy.com, or craigslist... Prob is going to be the miles. How about a U haul van, just say you are moving across the country... Seeing all the parks might be a stretch on that budget. Consider doing 1-2 regions, like the west/southwest.. Midwest/south. Less miles and you will see plenty. Frankly, the driving from monument to monument sucks... like sucks for days... We rented through Escape camper vans! It seemed to be the easiest/cheapest. outdoorsy.com is another one. Rent America is another one, but they are more RVs and a little pricier. Source: about 1 year ago
You can look on outdoorsy.com (renting directly from owners) but we went through escape camper vans. Theyre 5 miles north from the airport so we will scoop the van and head to the Gorge! Source: about 1 year ago
There are camper van rental places similar to Airbnb, like outdoorsy.com or RVshare.com. Outdoorsy offers discounts for 7+ days or 30+ days. You could fly to your start point and have the RV waiting for you at the airport. Source: about 1 year ago
