HebrewPod101 and random Israeli youtube channels are really my go-to at this point, but honestly, I just learn on a case by case basis (i.e. I figure out what I want to learn that day and then look it up). In that kind of situation, I try to look at several usage examples (either using openrussian.org, translate.yandex.com or reverso) and try to see in which context the word is used. Then, instead of using the "generic" word, I write in anki a definition based on my understanding of the word.
