Prices are back to what I expected on refurb.me. I'm not sure why they reported these numbers, but... Sanity restored. Source: over 1 year ago
I often use refurb.me to track availability of refurbished Macs in the Apple refurb store. I just checked the pricing of the M1 Minis, they're all out of stock, but the pricing is higher than before. Source: over 1 year ago
I'm curious what you mean by that. I think Apple refurbs are fantastic and I buy them when I can (for work, personal, etc.). I think other brand's/third-party refurbs give that category a bad name, but I would definitely recommend Apple's to anyone. However, they have spotty availability so it's not like you can just order one any time you want (hello refurb.me notifications). Source: almost 2 years ago

Any mac Apple offers becomes available from Apple as a refurb, direct from Apple, for significantly less than the identical new item. First things first, you'll need to register a domain if you haven't already. You can do this through any domain registrar like GoDaddy, Porkbun, or even Cloudflare itself. - Source: dev.to / 28 days ago

I don’t think there’s a huge difference for which registrar you use, but I like these because they offer WHOIS privacy and email forwarding at no extra charge on top of their already low prices. - Source: dev.to / 4 months ago
One domain I have had for over 20 years was originally purchased with GoDaddy. I then transferred to Google Domains when that opened up for supposedly better integration with Google Workspace. Now Google Domains is closing up and transferring to Squarespace but I just received an email that they do not support Dynamic DNS (DDNS) so now I'm looking to transfer my domain again. I was thinking about going back to... - Source: Hacker News / 5 months ago
Check porkbun.com, namesilo.com, then namecheap.com. They offer most but not all TLDs but each offers a few the other doesn't. There are some that none of them offer so you can try GoDaddy but they're pricey. Those three are among your best bets for long term low pricing. Source: 6 months ago
218,691 registered domains. [1] $3M/month. M as in million, not mille [2]? Mille is still commonly used in accounting [3] $36M/year is $164.61 per registered domain per year. Porkbun [4] offer .ai $72.40/year. Even 3 letter domains don't seem to have premium pricing. Something in this unsourced tweet, literally, doesn't add up.
