Questions and Answers

As answered by people managing refern. and Pinterest.

What makes your product unique?

refern.'s answer

The flow of collecting references when making art usually goes like this:

find references/inspirations online -> save those images and organize them -> use those images individually or in a moodboard -> reuse these references for next project / share with other people

refern lets you do all of these all in one platform rather than juggling multiple apps to do the same thing.

What's the story behind your product?

refern.'s answer

I'm an artist and a lot of times it was really frustrating not finding the right pictures, trying to organize/keep track reference images, and juggling too many apps when I just wanted to draw. I wanted something that can do it all and every component is well integrated, so I made refern.

  • D&D 5e Google Slides Character Sheet
    - If you ever struggle to find good art for your D&D character, go to websites like artstation.com and pinterest.com and just type in core aspects of your character for good inspiration. Like if you type "Tiefling Artificer" into artstation's search bar, you'll find a ton of great art for your character. Obviously if you make any content with someone else's character art, ask for permission and credit them though. Source: 6 months ago

However, HOWEVER, those thumbnails are served up by another website, not google, google is just wrapping it into their results page. So say that little thumbnail is coming from "pinterest.com", your dad can see that as a source for "something, at some point, in my sons history".... Source: over 1 year ago
