- If you ever struggle to find good art for your D&D character, go to websites like artstation.com and pinterest.com and just type in core aspects of your character for good inspiration. Like if you type "Tiefling Artificer" into artstation's search bar, you'll find a ton of great art for your character. When I type in certain websites with .com ending, I get redirected to the .dk ending, which is my country's domain ending. I, however, want to stay on the .com website. Say, you google that thing you're interested in. If you navigate to "images.google.com" he can see that, but not the thumbnails below. However, HOWEVER, those thumbnails are served up by another website, not google, google is just wrapping it into their results page. I like Milanote for a lot of writing tasks and use the paid version. In my novel-length works, each character gets a "board," which can be a character profile, reference art, a mood board, etc. Or ALL of those in one. Your mileage will depend on your tolerance of the price point and how many characters you have. Source: 12 months ago

Milanote. Something that just lets you have boards within boards, in a free-form note space. Not Joplin or Obsidian. Even though those two are spectacular, they don't have the board format I like for some projects. A self hosted alternative would be amazing! Source: about 1 year ago
