Recurly Reviews

Payment Platforms Comparison: Stripe vs Chargebee vs Paddle vs Recurly
Recurly subscription billing software is a cloud-based billing and invoicing solution. It’s an integrated subscription management and recurring bill monitoring platform. Recurly can be considered as a third-party billing management service used with existing business merchant accounts.

Would you use Paddle, Chargebee, Chargify, or just Stripe?
I had a couple of clients use Recurly and they preferred it because they could swap the Stripe backend out for another payment process. One of them needed to do that when they got kicked off Stripe. Another did it to save money on payment processing once they got to a certain scale.
7+ Cheap Competitors & Alternatives To Chargify
Talking about integrations, both the software allow multiple payment integrations but Chargify doesn’t support PayPal integration while Recurly can give you the option to incorporate PayPal in your Recurly account.

Asana Reviews

  1. Good, but not the best.

While Asana is a robust task management and project planning tool, in my experience, it falls slightly short when compared to Trello, particularly in terms of user-friendliness and simplicity. Asana offers a variety of features such as multiple project views (list, board, timeline, calendar), custom fields, and reporting tools, which can be highly beneficial for complex project management. However, I found that the learning curve can be steep, especially for team members not familiar with this type of software. The interface, while feature-rich, can feel a bit cluttered and overwhelming for new users. On the other hand, Trello shines in its simplicity and straightforward design. The visual card and board system is intuitive and easy to grasp, making it a more accessible tool for team members of varying tech proficiency levels. Additionally, Trello's user interface is cleaner and more streamlined, which contributes to an overall more enjoyable user experience.

In terms of collaboration, both tools provide good collaborative features like commenting, tagging, and task assignment. However, I appreciate Trello's flexibility with its Power-Ups, allowing integration with a wide array of apps which enhances its functionality. In conclusion, while Asana is a powerful tool with extensive features, I prefer Trello for its ease of use, simplicity, and intuitive design. However, I do see the value of Asana for larger teams or more complex projects.

  2. A Solid Project Management Tool, but Not the Best on the Market

Asana is a popular project management tool that has a lot to offer. It is fast and versatile, making it easy for individuals and teams to collaborate and get things done. The interface is clean and user-friendly, and there are plenty of features to help you organise and track your projects.

However, while Asana is a good tool, it is not the best on the market. One of its main weaknesses is its lack of advanced reporting and analysis capabilities. It can be challenging to get a comprehensive view of your projects and how they are progressing, especially if you have a large number of them.

Another issue is the cost. Asana can be expensive for teams with a lot of members, especially when compared to other project management tools that offer similar features at a lower price point.

    🏁 Competitors: Trello
    👍 Pros:    Fast|Clean ui|Excellent features
    👎 Cons:    No reporting|Expensive
  3. Coordinate and manage in teams the tasks and the circulation of work of a plan.

Asana is a very representative app for the work environment I'm a part of with team members and users it's stellar for: • To manage it on the web and portable devices • With option and manageability on the web • To set up projects and invite team members. • The projects have a roadmap to know the displacement of each activity. • Tasks can contain subtasks to keep track of work • Allows granting tasks, define expiration periods. • Effective and useful for adding files, making comments, and tags.

    🏁 Competitors: Trello, Wrike
👍 Pros:    Asana proceeds effectively by promoting and supporting the work plan process for each project in terms of: • to arrange and establish the work to be executed for a given project. • to distribute and share among the members the tasks of a project. • flexible to locate and work those minimum activities of a task. • to fix and assign who will be in charge of the tasks. • it is consistent to fix the structured tasks and visualize the phases and their movements. • to set dates for a project from start to finish. • with the option to handle related tasks that in one way or another are dependent on each other.
👎 Cons:    Asana, is substantial to give continuity to the acquired commitments, it gathers everything necessary for the satisfactory completion of the work plans, being so it is a fantastic application as long as i have no adverse consequences while i am using it.

  • Ask HN: What are some low cost payment processing alternatives to Stripe?
Https://recurly.com/ maybe, I can't find this in their pricing page, but from what I know it looks like this: revenue fee 0.500% transaction fee $0.08 and selected plan (there is free one); with your volume that would be around $3.2k a month in fees. - Source: Hacker News / 10 months ago
  • API monetization using an API Management and a billing provider
