There's a website called Codeberg that is open source and based in Germany, the site pretty much work as an open source alternative to Github and Gitlab by cooperating the same way as they do with the "Git" program. Oh and for the file size: compressing is usually better than resizing. And your image is a PNG which is much bigger in size than a JPG and you barely notice the difference. You can use https://tinyjpg.com/ or any proper image editor for good compression or even in Wonderdraft, you can (for sharing on Reddit) better export it as a JPG and at 80% or so.
