Best firewall software of 2024
As well as a firewall for all devices, Avast Premium Security also protects anti-ransomware protection, file encryption, and file shredder options. There are also anti-phishing and anti-fraud protections for safer online banking, and there's also protection against your webcam being hacked by a third party.
18 Best Avast Alternatives 2022 (Free Included)
Sure, using Avast does come with a lot of perks, but like any other software, Avast has its own drawbacks. For me, one of the biggest challenges with Avast is that it can slow your PC down.
Best malware removal software 2021: free and paid anti-malware tools and services
What's even better is that not only are Avast's basic products free, but they are also available for mobile devices as well as for desktops, which makes Avast a particular ideal choice if you have multiple devices you need to check.
9 of The Best Malwarebytes Alternatives in 2021
Even though there are trusted websites, there have been tons of cases of them being hacked quite a lot. So, use Avast Antivirus that will alert you about such websites, block any download from a potentially risky website, and prevent intrusive web tracking.

  • Using multiple rails versions on the same computer
One other company you might want to check out is https://railslts.com/ ... I haven't used them before but was thinking about it. Depends on your budget. But they maintain older Ruby stuff... One issue you might run into is companies like Heroku no longer supporting super old versions - so you might have to also roll your own servers :(. Source: 11 months ago
  • Older versions of Ruby on Rails LTS
There is a service at https://railslts.com that advertises paid support for older versions of Ruby on Rails. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Building GitHub with Ruby on Rails
Nothing wrong with Rails 3.2 :) get it on Ruby 3.1 if you can - https://railslts.com. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
  • Need to install Ruby 2.7.7 with rbenv but rbenv doesn't list it. Help?
Not an immediate fix but in general: If you’re not on a supported security release you need to be using (and paying for) https://railslts.com/. It will at least allow the team to use newer rubies which will make upgrading (the ultimate desired end goal) easier. Good luck. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Does anyone remember the name of that company that was offering extended support for EOL rails versions and backported security fixes?
I think it's these people: https://railslts.com/ . I've never used their service, nor do I know if they're still active. The website seems to indicate that they are still active, though. Source: over 1 year ago
