I use Quartz* for my personal site, and just edit it directly in Obsidian. One push to GitHub and it's deployed, with very little effort. It's like Obsidian Publish, but much more customizable. Alfred as a spotlight replacement that works amazingly. Dockey to change dock settings. Vanilla or Bartender for managing your menu bar. Fantastical is a great calendar app for all Apple devices. And Spark as a good email client. Source: over 2 years ago

Well, I like TinkerTool (it's my favorite tweaks app) but if you only use it to disable the dock delay, you could use this command or if you prefer a GUI there's Dockey. Source: almost 3 years ago
